The Police to reunite at the Grammys

The Police have officially made the announcement today that they will be reuniting at the Grammys for a special performance. The group will be opening the show. The Police, which features lead singer Sting, have not performed together since 2003's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. The band, which also features Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers, has since been rehearsing for the show for the last few weeks.

Mary J. Blige leads the pack of noms going into the show with eight. Other nominations and performers include the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Justin Timberlake. The Grammys will be held in Los Angeles at the Staples Center on February 11.
