Luscious Jackson Collects Their Best

Published: 2007-01-30
Lady rockers Luscious Jackson are releasing a record of their best work.

The band was all over the place in the nineties with singles like "Here", "Naked Eye" and "Under Your Skin" hitting the radio and had appearances on shows like MTV's House of Style, Saturday Night Live and the Nickelodeon series The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Their tunes also showed up on soundtracks to movies like Clueless, and Good Will Hunting.

In 1998 one of the original members, Vivian Trimble left the group and after one album in 1999 the band split.

On February 20 the band will release Greatest Hits a collection that will include the band's best loved songs as well as some unreleased remixes. Here is the track list:

"Naked Eye"
"Under Your Skin"
"Deep Shag"
"Let Yourself Get Down"
"Why Do I Lie?"
"Nervous Breakdown"
"Strong Man"
"Love Is Here"
"69 Annee Erotique"
"Ladyfingers" (Kut Mastra Kurt remix)
"Naked Eye" (Tony Mangurian remix)
"Why Do I Lie?" (Pants On Fire remix)
"Nervous Breakdown" (Thievery Corporation remix)

Three of the band's members have recently been working together on an album of children's music for release sometime in 2007, while member Jill Cuniff will release a solo album City Beach due out on the same day as the Luscious Jackson best of package.
