Joss Stone Introduces Herself on New Album

Published: 2007-01-22
Soul singer songwriter Joss Stone is getting set to re-introduce herself to the world on her new record.

Stone began her career at the tender age of 16 with The Souls Sessions a covers album consisting mostly of little known soul tracks.

Though she co-wrote many of the tunes on her 2004 record Mind, Body and Soul she says her upcoming release is a lot more personal. Her album was produced by American singer-songwriter and producer Raphael Saadiq who has also worked with artists like D'Angelgo, Mary J Blige and the Bee Gees and includes collaborations with Common and Lauryn Hill.

Introducing Joss Stone is set to hit store shelves on March 20 but she gave fans in Toronto a sneak peek of her new material at a last-minute show at the Docks on Saturday night.
