Published: 2007-01-19
Buffalo's own Goo Goo Dolls are preparing to build a studio in their hometown. Lead singer Johnny Rzeznik says that the studio will be a non-profit project that will support local acts. He also says that the city has never had a proper venue for recording songs and it is something that the band is interested in doing. No word yet on when the project will begin.

The band has also earned the biggest act in Billboard's Adult Top 40 history with 12 top ten hits including their first, "Name" to the more recent "Let Love In". The guys thank their fans for all their success through the years.

The band plans to tour the United Kingdom and Ireland then twirl around the States once again come summertime.
