The Show I'll Never Forget: 50 Writers Relive Their Most Memorable Concert-going Experience, is bound to be another successful venture for Da Capo Press. Edited by Spin magazine writer Manning it should stand out as a great music read.

With commentary by musician themselves such as, David Bowie, The White Stripes and Led Zeppelin you get the chance to hear real musician's opinions on other's performances. As well as musicians, there are favourites featured by novelists, poets, critics and other SPIN writers past and present such as Andy Greenwald and Chuck Klosterman.

Some bands chosen as the most memorable were, Miles Davis, The Notorious B.I.G, Nirvana, Metric, Prince, Public Image Ltd and Led Zeppelin. The book does not only relay the concert experience but it explains the culture around what they were seeing, when it took place, who the audience was, and why it was of any importance.
