G. Love Releases Early Recordings

Published: 2007-01-05
Before striking success with his band Special Sauce and teaming up with Hawaiian singer songwriter Jack Johnson, G. Love released Oh Yeah.

In 2006 G. Love AKA Garrett Dutton and his band Special Sauce released their seventh studio album Lemonade on Jack Johnson's Brushfire Records. It was the band's highest charting record thus far.

But far before his recent success and even before teaming up with special sauce G. Love released Oh Yeah. Love took the ten track album, recorded on cassette tape, and sold them while busking in Boston in the early nineties. Now the album will be released digitally on iTunes beginning January 16 and by other digital music retailers a week later.

Here's what you'll find on the re-release:

"Sauce"
"What's Going On"
"Writing On The Walls"
"Girls At The Laundromat"
"Run For Me"
"Mother"
"Rhyme For The Summertime"
"Leaving For The City"
"The Fat One"
"Shootin' Hoops"
