Timbaland to Create Mash-ups CompilationPublished: 2007-01-04 |

Timbaland has been one of the most successful producers of the year. He has been lending beats to just about everybody who's been topping the charts; Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake and the Pussy Cat Dolls.
The prominent producer's next move is a mash-up compilation between different artists from various genres. Be prepared to hear bands like The Hives and Fall Out Boy mixed up with beats from Dr.Dre, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and 50 cent. You'll even find some more alternative artists like Elton John and Bjork on the disc.
Timbaland himself even collaborates with the dance rock duo, She Wants Revenge. Warfield from She Wants Revenge told Vh1 the band is very excited about the project and that it's been their long time goal to work with Timbaland. "I don't think anybody's heard anything like it," says Warfield adding that "It's just a true collaboration between the best of what he does and the best of what we do. I think that it goes beyond putting a hyphen in between two musical genres, and it goes beyond radio formatting and beyond preconceived ideas about style."
The appropriately titled Timbaland Presents Shock Value, compilation will be out this March.
