Red Hot Chili Peppers to Soundtrack Disney

Published: 2007-01-03
There are soundtracks to movies and television shows and now you can add Walt Disney rides to the list of the things that need soundtracks.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have sensed this need and have come to the rescue. Running through January 3 to April 26 the band will have two songs playing during two rides at the theme parks. You can hear the tracks as you ride the rides at the Anaheim, CA amusement park. While riding Space Mountain The Chili Peppers' 1989 Stevie Wonder cover "Higher Ground" will be streamed through the speakers. While entering the longest steel looping rollercoaster, California Screamin' you will be able to rock out to the 1999 hit "Around the World".

Ryan Hewitt, long time producer of many Chili Pepper tracks has worked on the remixing of the tracks. The songs will flow with the twists and turns of each ride.
