Buddy Guy 'Canít Quit' Being on the Road

Seventy year old blues rocker Buddy Guy is setting off on the road to promote his new box set of greatest hits.

Guy began his career in the sixties and his epic fusion of blues and rock went on to influence some of rock's biggest names including Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He's also taken home five Grammys and in 2005 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

His brand new box set, released this past October Can't Quit the Blues spans his career from the sixties until today with three CDs including six previously unreleased tracks, a DVD with a documentary on the musicians' life and previously unseen footage of past concerts and a 40 page colour book about Guy's life and music.

This spring he'll be heading out to promote his new box set across North America, here are his Canadian dates:

April 20, Kitchener, ON - The Centre in the Square
April 21, Toronto, ON - Massey Hall
April 22, Hamilton, ON - Hamilton Place
