Madonna has received much flack for all her attempts as an actress in front of the camera. But being the fierce performer that she is, the criticism has not stopped her. Madonna is about to turn the camera around and attempt a go at directing.
Her directorial debut will be attached to a film entitled Blade to the Heat. The movie is a real life story based on the boxer Benny Kid Paret. Madonna's company, Maverick Entertainment is also attached to the film, being recognized as the production company.
The singer has no excess of time to be making her directorial debut with her controversial Confessions tour having just wrapped up and being the second largest grossing tour of this year. Playing number two to The Rolling Stones lead position. Also Madonna has been working with clothing store H&M every since they sponsored her tour this past summer. She will be designing a portion of their spring 2007 line, properly titled M for Madonna.
