Red Jumpsuit Apparatus ëTake Actioní For the Youth America Hotline

Deciding to take the depressed elements away from rock music, bands are getting together in the New Year for the Take Action Tour to benefit the Youth America Hotline.

Take Action was formed by Hopeless & Sub City Records and according to a press release, "aims to create a better world, one voice and one action at a time. By working with various non-profit organizations, Take Action strives to educate people about the positive difference that can be made by each of us in our community through activism and charitable work."

The 2007 tour will benefit the Youth America Hotline with 10 per cent of all ticket sales and 5 per cent of sales from each compilation CD going straight to the organization.

The tour is being headlined by Florida rockers the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, who just released their debut record Don't You Fake It in November. Joining them on tour is post-hardcore band Emery, who just wrapped up the Nintendo Fusion Tour, Arizona-based rockers Scary Kids Scaring Kids, California emocore band A Static Lullaby and experimental rockers Kaddisfly.

Kicking off on the first of February, the tour will last till the end of March and will make one stop in Canada:

March 18, Toronto, ON - Phoenix Concert Theatre
