A rare find in a market stall has lead to one of the most important rock 'n' roll artifacts being found and sold on eBay. An early studio recording by The Velvet Underground was discovered by Montrealer, Warren Hill in 2002 in New York, he paid 75 cents for it. Now it's being sold on eBay for $130,000US.
The Velvet Underground was a 1960s art rock band from New York mentored and produced by Andy Warhol. The item being sold is the definitive version of the band's 1967 debut album, which was extremely influential on the glam rock and punk scenes and has influenced many people to begin bands of their own.
