Keane Returns to North America

After cancelling their North American tour earlier this year due to frontman Tom Chaplain's trip to rehab, Keane is returning for a short stint to North America.

The English trio are still touring behind their sophomore disc Under the Iron Sea that was released this summer and spawned the singles "Is It Any Wonder?" and "Crystal Ball." The band toured throughout the summer mostly in the UK with a few North American promotional stops. The band then scheduled a North American tour for the fall but was forced to cancel when Chaplain checked himself into rehab.

Early in 2007, the band plans to hit North America for their first full tour for this record. So far the band has booked a five-date stint on the West coast. According to Keane's official website, they are hoping to announce more North American dates soon.

Here are the dates they've scheduled so far:

January 26, Los Angeles, CA - The Wiltern
January 27, San Francisco, CA - Berkeley community Theatre
January 29, Portland, OR - Roseland
January 30, Seattle, WA - Paramount
January 31, Vancouver, BC - Orpheum
