Irish pop group Snow Patrol has continued to climb the charts with their noteworthy single "Chasing Cars" from their critically acclaimed album Eyes Open. However, the band has announced that there will be solo projects ahead. Lead singer, Gary Lightbody will be focusing on an electro pop solo project, and lead guitarist Nathan Connolly will be going for a mellower album on his own.
Their UK tour begins November 28, so the solo work may not happen until late January when it appears they have a break in their schedule. The band have expressed to fans not to worry as they plan to remain loyal to the band.
