George Thorogood & The Destroyers Celebrate 30 Years

He has been "Bad to the Bone" on the road for 30 years and still enjoys it. "When the Destroyers go on the road we realize we're still living our dream," said George Thorogood. "It doesn't matter that 39 years have gone by, we're still having fun. Let me repeat F-U-N, fun." George Thorogood and the Destroyers are in the midst of their thirteenth anniversary tour which includes some half dozen Canadian dates.

Also to commemorate the occasion Capital Records/EMI is releasing "George Thorogood & the Destroyers Greatest Hits: 30 Years of Rock" on May 18. The CD contains 16 songs including a previously unreleased "Rockin' My Life Away" and a remix version of "Who Do You Love", along with hits like "Bad to the Bone", "One Bourbon, One Scotch", "Move it on Over" and may other classic Thorogood hits.
