Guelph based indie rockers the Constantines are wrapping up the year on the road.
The band is continuing to tour behind their 2005 release Tournament of Hearts. Hating to hit the road alone, the band is taking friends with them along the way.
They'll start off with a couple of American dates with the Hold Steady, followed by some Canadian shows with Lullabye Arkestra, Shotgun and Jaybird and the Creeping Nobodies. Included in those Canadian dates are a couple of shows at Toronto's Lee's palace, one is an evening show and the other an all ages matinee for CARE Canada. CARE is a humanitarian organization that brings a broad range of programs to communities in need.
They'll wrap up for 2006 on December 9 but will head back out again in 2007, this time supporting Canadian rockers the Tragically Hip.
