Snow Patrol Add More Canadian Dates

Published: 2006-11-21
UK rockers Snow Patrol are showing Canada some more love.

The band blew up back in 2003 with their album Final Straw, which spawned hits like "Run" and "Chocolate."

Though the band, who is currently touring behind their album Eyes Open, announced a couple of Canadian dates in Toronto and Montreal on their upcoming North American tour, it seems that wasn't enough. They have just added dates in Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton in April.

Tickets for the newly announced Canadian dates will go on sale for members today at 10 am local time and to the general public on Thursday November 23 at 10 am local time.

Here are all their Canadian tour dates:

March 30, Montreal, QC - Metropolis
March 31, Toronto, ON - Ricoh Coliseum
April 7, Winnipeg, MB - Burton Cummings Theatre
April 9, Calgary, AB - MacEwan Hall
April 10, Edmonton, AB - Shaw Conference Centre

Before heading out on the road, the band will also be performing at this year's American Music Awards tonight along with BeyoncÈ, Gwen Stefani, John Mayer, Nelly Furtado and many others.
