Linkin Park 'Grow' on Third Album

Published: 2006-11-17
Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda has told fans to expect something different for their third album due out next year. "There is an element to the album that will be familiar to people simple because it's the same guys making the music, but at the same time, these guys have grown up quite a bit, and we definitely have a different mind state about making songs," says Shinoda to Billboard.

Shinoda goes on to say that the band would like to make an album that is cutting edge and different and says the third album will be like stepping outside the box and trying something new from previous albums.

As a fan, I can hardly wait for ANYTHING "new" from LP! I just hope it offers some hope in the way Breaking the Habit did. My son was so rebellious until that song. It opened his eyes and the eyes of many teens.
