Rolling Stones Sued, Postpone Tour

Published: 2006-11-01
Imagine if someone sued you for $51 million dollars because you got a sore throat and would lack in performance if you came in to work. This is precisely what Mick Jagger is facing when he cancelled the October 27 show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Brooklyn woman who is suing Jagger says she had booked a room at Trump Taj Mahal and bought $500 tickets off the internet and wants to be reimbursed for her lavish spending spree with millions to spare.

Thankfully, there was only one postponement on their solo Canadian stop in Vancouver and no Canadian fans have attempted to sue. The show has been moved to November 25 at BC Place Stadium. If fans who initially bought tickets do want a refund, they have until November 14 at Ticketmaster.ca.
