Sam Roberts Keeps 'Chemical City' On the Road

Published: 2006-10-31
Singer-songwriter Sam Roberts and his band continue to tour behind their newest record Chemical City.

Roberts made a name for himself after his independent release The Inhuman Condition became one of the best selling independent releases in the country spawning hits like "Brother Down," "Don't Walk Away Eileen" and "Where Have All the Good People Gone?" off of the six tune EP.

Chemical City, released earlier this year, has already spawned a couple of hits including "The Gate" and "Bridge To Nowhere" and announced earlier this month on the band's website, the song "With A Bullet" is slated to be the album's next single.

To make sure that this single is as big a hit as the last two, the band is heading on the road throughout November. Though a few dates have been added for Canada and the US, their official website indicates that there will be more dates to come. Here are their Canadian stops so far:

November 2, Montreal, QC - Metropolis
November 3, Fredericton, NB - UNB Cafeteria
November 4, Halifax, NS - Cunard Centre
November 16, Thunder Bay, ON - Community Auditorium
November 17, Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeg Convention Centre
