Hanson Shows They're 'Strong Enough to Break'

After the massive success of their 1997 pop album Middle of Nowhere, Hanson was on top of the charts and the top of the world. Pop singles like "MmmBop," "Where's the Love" and "Weird" brought the brothers success and a massive loyal fan base.

Later, when the boys wanted to release their 2004 album Underneath they, like many other artists before them, struggled with their major record label who were only interested in radio friendly tracks.

But the boys went on to release the album independently and debuted at the top of the independent albums chart and they documented their experiences on film.

Now the film Strong Enough to Break, premiering at the Hollywood Film Festival on October 22, shows the journey Zac, Taylor and Isaac took from boy band status to indie band. They want people to see the plight that many bands go through after successful albums to express themselves artistically.

The documentary is set to hit DVD in the next couple of months according to Billboard and the brothers are set to release a new album The Walk on their own 3CG label.
