Halifax-based band In-Flight Safety has spent the past couple of weeks touring the UK before heading back to Canada for their upcoming trek.
In 2003 In-Flight Safety played their first Toronto gig at the NXNE Festival and gained the coveted "Fan Choice Award." The following year, vocalist/guitarist John Mullane, keyboardist Daniel Ledwell, bassist Brad Goodsell and drummer Glen Nicholson released their debut EP Vacation Land before signing to fellow Canadian indie artist Emm Gryner's Dead Daisy Records.
Their current full-length release The Coast is Clear has quickly made them a mainstay on the Canadian indie rock scene and gained them five nominations at the Nova Scotia Music Awards.
The band is heading out on the road up until the beginning of December, starting in Ontario and making their way West before finishing off their tour back home in Halifax.
