Jim Noir Plans US Tour with Canadian Stops

Multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Jim Noir is hitting 14 North American spots this winter.

The 24-year-old artist from Manchester, England released his debut record Tower of Love earlier this year through Barsuk Records. He introduced his mix of psychedelic, electronic pop to American audiences at the 2006 South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texan this past summer and is back for a tour.

Noir, who is often seen sporting a bowler hat and a suit, writes, produces and plays all his own instruments.

He announced the tour on his MySpace page along with the news that he is working on his next album.

The tour kicks of in Los Angeles on December 5 at Safari Sams and hits these Canadian spots:

Dec. 9, Vancouver, BC - Richards on Richards
Dec. 13, Toronto, ON - Opera House
