Paul Brandt is on Operation Christmas Child

Published: 2006-10-20
Country singer Paul Brandt is touring across the country and though he's taking his guitar with him, music won't be the reason he's hitting the road.

Brandt is making stops around the country for Operation Christmas Child. Operation Christmas child is an annual effort to collect shoe boxes full of gifts for less fortunate children overseas. To participate, people pack up shoe boxes with small items like toys, school supplies and other things that a child might need and then drop them off at a participating pick up location during the week of November 13-18 for it to be shipped to a less fortunate child.

Or if you head down to see Paul Brandt on one of his tour stops, he will also be collecting the boxes and packing them up in his 18-wheeler to ship in November. Along with collecting boxes, Brandt will be signing autographs for fans and singing a few tunes from his upcoming Christmas release A Gift due out November 7.

For more information on what to put in your shoebox or where you can drop them off go to:

Here's where he'll be stopping later this month - start packing your boxes!

October 23, Toronto, ON - Yorkland School
October 24, Ottawa, ON - Salem Storehouse Christian Book Store
October 26, Fredericton, NB - Olivet Wesleyan Church
October 27, Halifax, NS - Halifax Christian Church
