Published: 2006-10-19
James Blunt plans to raise money for Doctors Without Borders/ M»decins Sans Frontiňres with a special gig at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.

The international organization delivers medical aid to over 70 countries affected by war, disaster and healthcare exclusion. Blunt has already raised over $70,000 for the humanitarian organization on his current tour by auctioning off a personal meeting with the singer-songwriter after the show.

The cause is close to Blunt's heart as a former NATO peacekeeper who witnessed Doctors Without Borders in action in Kosovo.

Blunt is continuing to tour across North America behind his popular debut release Back To Bedlam. The charity show takes place on November 16.
