Forward Russia! to Tour North America

The indie dance punk quartet, Forward Russia! is planning a tour to North America behind their debut release, Give Me A Wall.

The British band, hailing from Leeds, formed in 2004 when Tom Woodhead and Rob Canning of the Black Helicopters joined forces with siblings Katie and Whiskas Nicholls with the intention of trying something new.

They quickly gained popularity in the UK by touring and hitting the festival circuit and through the release of their singles, titled only after numbers. Across the pond, their reputation is on the rise with the band making it onto the mtvU "Freshman 5" list of bands poised to be big hits on campus this fall.

Forward Russia! begin their North American tour with a brief stint across the U.S. before heading back to the UK. The band will then return to the U.S. with a couple of stops in Canada to round off their tour:
