Published: 2006-10-06
Alternative metal band P.O.D. is putting together some of their best tunes for release this fall.

After parting with their record label this summer, the band is putting together some of the songs from that time for their Greatest Hits (The Atlantic Years). Aside from some of their best and brightest, the band will add on a couple of new tunes one of which, according to their website, is being recorded this week.

Aside from the new release the band is also shopping around for a new label. According to their site, "P.O.D. have been taking meetings with various record labels. There are also discussions within their management team about developing their own independent model. 'We have been blessed to have many great years on a major label, but the idea of remaining free agents is attractive."

Here are the tracks on their new record out November 21:

"Alive"
"Youth of the Nation"
"Sleeping Awake"
