Johnny Cash's 'San Quentin' Re-Released With New Tracks, DVD

Published: 2006-09-26
One of the Man in Black's most treasured live albums is being re-released through Columbia/Legacy.

Johnny Cash at San Quentin was recorded during Johnny Cash's visit to San Quentin State Prison in 1969 and was the legend's first number one album on the Billboard Charts.

On November 17, the performance will reappear as a three-disc set that includes two CDs of songs as well as a DVD of interviews with the San Quentin inmates, live performances and the 1969 documentary, "Johnny Cash in San Quentin."

In addition to the original recordings, this collection will also feature 13 unreleased tracks.
