KT Tunstall already recording sophomore album

Even though she is still promoting her debut release, Eye to the Telescope, KT Tunstall is already gearing up for record number two. Her new record will be a bit of a departure from her first, according to Tunstall. "Although it's definitely moved on, it's not a radical change," Tunstall tells Billboard.com. "The second album sort of feels like the next half of the book rather than a totally different book."

Tunstall has even begun recording the new album and has used the well-known Rockfield Studios, which was used both by Queen and Led Zeppelin, for her sessions. She has completed two songs which are entitled, "Beauty of Uncertainty" and "Saving My Face".

Tunstall's Telescope has gone gold thanks to the help of her single, "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree". Even though she is still touring behind that record, she hopes to have her new, still untitled, record in stores by the spring of next year.
