Amos Lee Keeps Up with 'Supply and Demand'

Published: 2006-09-21
Philly-based singer-songwriter Amos Lee's folk soul jazz sounds brought him success with his self-titled debut and he hopes to continue it with his next record.

His debut, released in 2004, spawned soulful singles like "Keep it Loose, Keep it Tight" and "Colors," which was also featured on a couple of prime time medical dramas; House and Grey's Anatomy. The buzz from his record gained him a spot opening for Grammy winner Norah Jones and later Merle Haggard and legendary folk singer Bob Dylan.

Supply and Demand is set to hit stores on October 3. But if you can't wait that long to hear some new material from Mr. Lee you can check out a couple of his new tunes "Shout Out Loud" and "Sympathize" on his official website and MySpace.

After releasing the record he'll be heading on the road with a few Canadian stops:

November 1, Montreal, QC - La Tulipe
November 2, Ottawa, ON - Zaphod's
November 3, Toronto, ON - Danforth Music Hall
November 4, Waterloo, ON - Starlight Social Club
