Incubus World Tour

Rockers Incubus started a world tour in Japan earlier this month. The band will not hit their homeland until June. The North American leg of the tour will hit 60 cities and last over three months. The only Canadian date on the tour is July 6 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

Incubus is touring in support of their newest album "Crow Left of the Murder" which was released February 3. The CD debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 music charts and sold over 500,000 copies in the first three weeks. While rehearsing and recording the new album band members used guitarist Mike Einziger's house. "I sacrificed my living room for rock and roll," said Einziger. "It was really fun, actually. I had an entire band's worth of equipment in my living room that I could play with all the time," he added. Using his living room as a rehearsal hall and recording studio also meant that Einziger was never late and he didn't have to fight the California traffic to get there. The choice of Einziger's living room was a good one because the band finished recording the album ahead of schedule. Frontman Brandon Boyd attributes finishing the recording early as the reason for his gardening accident where he injured his foot 10 days later.
