Mute Math Cease Fire with Warner, Release New Album

Published: 2006-08-11
Louisiana based Mute Math have finally come to the end of their battle with Warner Bros. over their recent lawsuit against the label. Frontman, Paul Meany, was quoted saying, "All issues are settled. Our label Teleprompt has just inked a new and improved deal with Warner Brothers that enables us to keep making and selling music exactly as we want." With the lawsuit out of the way, the band also cancelled their appearance on Warped Tour last week apologizing for the inconvenience and announcing a new album in it's place.

The new album, set to be released on September 26 will also include some additional tracks from the Reset EP. Meany mentions that the new album will also have a bonus live EP in the first pressing that goes out this Fall. With the new album, fans can expect a tour, stay tuned to Soul Shine and for details.
