My Chemical Romance prepare release of new album

Published: 2006-08-02
Pop punk emo band My Chemical Romance are readying the release of their follow-up to 2004's Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.

Though the band released their first record in 2002, little was heard of them until their second record, which also spawned a live release in 2006.

Set to come out October 24, the record has yet to be titled but was rumored to be called The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance, a title which was later confirmed to be false.

According to Gigwise, the band put the record together with Green Day producer Rob Cavallo whom guitarist Ray Toro said, "Sonically, Rob is a master. It is a joy to watch him craft tones that make your song sound like you always dreamed it would."

I was a little disapointed to hear that they were working with Rob, as I am not a big fan on Green Day, but I am sure McR will make this album great, no matter who they are working with!
Cant wait!
