Paul McCartney releases Latin record

Former Beatle Paul McCartney is getting set to release a Latin record, and no we don't mean he's teaming up with Shakira and Ricky Martin.

His newest record will be the follow-up to last years Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. However this new record will not be following the same pop music style that McCartney and his bandmates made famous with the Beatles, instead he'll be making a classical record.

Commissioned by Magdalen College, Oxford, his new record will be a classical piece entitled "Ecce Cor Meum" or Behold my Heart. If you don't recognize the language of the album's title, it's because it's Latin, a language few have used in many, many years.

According to Reuters, McCartney studied Latin at the Liverpool Institute High School for Boys. The piece is written for a choir and orchestra and is in both Latin and English.
