Coming just after the announcement that the Rolling Stones have had the second highest grossing tour for this half of 2006 (Madonna came in #1) the Stones have announced another North American tour.

The 17 date stint will begin September 20 in Boston and last until November 18, hitting some smaller cities than their previous tour. The UK rockers continue to tour behind their 2005 release A Bigger Bang.

According to Livedaily, Mick Jagger also wanted to assure fans that guitarist Keith Richards is feeling fine after a recent head injury, "Keith's fine, his head's better, he's playing well and enjoying himself so we're all looking forward to this leg of the tour."
