U2 seek help from Pearl Jam, Kanye West

Published: 2006-07-25
U2 had to delay a few dates in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan this past
spring when one of U2's family members fell ill. But not to despair, they have
officially been rescheduled with help from rockers Pearl Jam and rapper Kanye
West.

West will help out and open the Australia and New Zealand shows while Pearl Jam
will open the December 9 Honolulu show. Ticket holders are asked to hang on to
their original tickets as they will be legitimate for the new dates.

U2's Vertigo tour is now the top grossing tour in history as it stands at
$333 million. The Rolling Stones, however, are projected to top that come the
end of summertime with their A Bigger Bang Tour.
