Indie pop five-piece the Decemberists are getting set to drop their third album this fall.

Though the follow up to 2005's Picaresque is the band's fourth full-length record, it is their first major label release on Capitol Records.

The Crane Wife, due out on October 3, has a tough act to follow with its predecessor being nominated for the prestigious New Pantheon award last year.

Here's what the new record has to offer:

"The Crane Wife 3"
"The Island":
-Come and See
-The Landlord's Daughter
-You'll Not Feel the Drowning
"Yankee Bayonet (I Will Be Home Then)"
"O Valencia!"
"The Perfect Crime #2"
"When the War Came"
"Shankill Butchers"
"Summersong"
"The Crane Wife 1 & 2"
"Sons and Daughters"

After the record's release the band will take a trek around North America throughout October and November. November will include a few Canadian stops with Alasdair Roberts. Here's where they're stopping:

November 5, Montreal, QC - Metoropolis
November 6, Toronto, ON - Kool Haus
November 18, Vancouver, BC - Commodore Ballroom
