Leigh Nash goes solo with ŽBlue on BlueŪ

Published: 2006-07-19
Singer-songwriter Leigh Nash is getting ready to release her first solo record.

After spending nearly half of her life fronting the band Sixpence None the Richer and striking success with tunes like "Kiss Me" and "There She Goes" the band split amicably in 2004 leaving Nash to pursue her own solo career.

So Nash hooked up with Canadian producer Pierre Marchand last winter in Montreal to put together her new release Blue on Blue. The musician describes her album, due out August 15, as influenced by her experience in Christian music and her love for country.

Her first single "My Idea of Heaven" is available for download along with the b-side "Nervous in the Light of Dawn." Here are the other tracks you'll find on her record:

"Along the Wall"
"Nervous in the Light of Dawn"
"My Idea of Heaven"
"Ocean Size Love"
"Never Finish"
"Between the Lines"
"More of It"
"Angel Tonight"
"Cloud Nine"
"Just A Little"
