Lee Rogers sends ŽLoveŪ on new record

Published: 2006-07-12
Irish singer-songwriter Lee Rogers has just released his debut record.

Though Rogers has been writing music for a few years, it wasn't until 2005 that he signed to a record label to create his debut record, about the time that his son was born.

The record, Drawing Clocks came out July 10 to a building buzz. Though his upcoming tour this summer will remain in the UK, Rogers is no stranger to the other side of the pond, playing a critically acclaimed show at this year's NXNE festival in Toronto.

Drawing Clocks was preceded by his first single "Love, Love, Love."

Here are the other tunes on the record:

"Brian Writes Poetry"
"Get It Right"
"Love, Love, Love"
"Drawing Clocks"
"How Will I Sleep?"
"More Than One Place"
"Only Me"
"Leave Me Standing"
"All That You Mean"
"Long Gone Days"

What can I say. A cut above, different league and everything else like that!!! To hear the album is fantastic, but to see him live is like nothing else. Mesmerizing.

'Drawing Clocks' should come with a warning! It's not been out of my CD player since I got it!! Beautiful lyrics, gorgeous voice, tunes that bury themselves deep in your head and heart. Highly recommended live and recorded!
