John Mayer brings ëContinuumí

Published: 2006-07-09
John Mayer is readying the release of a new record this fall.

Though he hasn't released a studio album since 2003's Heavier Things, Mayer has been keeping himself busy touring with the more bluesy sounding John Mayer Trio and making appearances on other people's albums like Herbie Hancock's Possibilities - "Stitched Up," Eric Clapton's Back Home - "Piece of My Heart," Rob Thomas' Something To Be "Streetcorner Symphony" and the Dixie Chicks' Taking the Long Way - "Baby Hold On."

Soon the singer-songwriter will be releasing some new tracks of his own. His first single "Waiting on the World To Change" is currently spinning on the radio. Two of the tracks on the new record "Gravity" and "Vultures" were also featured on the live John Mayer Trio album Try!. Mayer has also previewed others like "Bold As Love" and "Stop this Train" on the road.

He will likely preview more of his new songs while on tour with Sheryl Crow until the release of Continuum on September 12.

Here are the other tracks on the record:

"Waiting on the World to Change"
"I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You)"
"The Heart of Life"
"Slow Dancing in a Burning Room"
"Stop This Train"
"Bold As Love"
"Dreaming with A Broken Heart"
"In Repair"
"I'm Gonna Find Another You"
