Nizlopi release an ŽExtraOrdinayŪ EP

UK folk hip-hop duo Nizlopi are getting ready to put out a new mini-CD this fall.

Though the duo's debut disc Half These Songs Are About You won't be in North American stores until July 18, Nizlopi is already getting set to release a follow-up EP.

Luke Concannon and John Parker shot to success in the UK late last year after the release of their hit single the "JCB Song." The tune, along with its sweet, simple animated video, topped the charts in the US but is only beginning to get airplay here in Canada.

The new mini-CD will be released digitally or in CD version on the band's website on September 4, with six brand new tracks.

The EP will include the track "Homage to Young Men" featuring activist Alastair McIntosh rapping over Nizlopi's music. Concannon describes it as a song addressing young men about different stages in life.

Nizlopi is planning a promotional trip to Canada this July.
