Canadian singer-songwriter Leslie Feist is gearing up to hit the road this summer.
Better known just as Feist, she'll be taking her latest release Let it Die all over North America.
Though she'll begin work on a follow up to the 2004 release, she is tiding fans over for new material with her album of remixes, collaborations, demos and acoustic tunes Open Season. The disc was already released in Canada in April but our friends south of the border will get a chance to pick it up in stores July 18th.
The Calgary native will begin her road trip with a festival on Olympic Island in Toronto along with Bloc Party, Raising the Fawn, J Mascis, and will be pulling double duty as a member of Broken Social Scene. Then she'll be making the festival rounds both in Canada and the US stopping everywhere from the Mariposa Folk Fest in Orillia, to Lollapalooza in Chicago and Austin City Limits in Austin, of course.
