Sheryl Crow back on the road

Published: 2006-06-16
In case fans missed Sheryl Crow while she was off the road, they will certainly get their fill this summer and fall. Not only has she returned to her tour after postponing it to receive breast cancer treatment, she has also announced a joint tour with John Mayer that will kick off in August.

Crow was forced to delay her spring tour when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent minimally invasive surgery in February. While she has only finished her treatment approximately six weeks ago, she is apparently excited to be back on the road again.

In an interview with the Associated Press, she explained that discovering she had breast cancer changed her whole outlook on life. She said she appreciates the time she has on-stage and the songs she sings have taken on a new meaning.

Crow's latest album is Wildflower, which was released in September 2005.

Crow's tour is already underway, which includes stops in Orillia and Ottawa in July. Her tour with Mayer will kick off on August 24th in Pennsylvania, with only one Canadian date scheduled so far for September 22nd, in Vancouver.
