Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lisa Germano is getting set to release a new record.

The Italian/American began her career as violinist for roots rocker John Mellencamp for several years. Through the years she has worked with a myriad of musicians including David Bowie, Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan and the Eels.

She first broke off on her own in 1991 with the record On the Way Down from the Moon Palace. Her latest album In the Maybe World is set for release on July 18th. The multi-talented musician played guitar, keys and violin on the new disc as well as arranged and produced the record.
