The man who was dubbed 'the voice of a generation' is making an album for Modern Times.

Bob Dylan's new album is set to hit stores on August 19th. The highly influential singer-songwriter, who has been making music since the 60s, experienced a resurgence in popularity following the release of Martin Scorsese's film biography No Direction Home:Bob Dylan last year.

According to NME, "A number of hand-picked journalists were given a playback of the album in New York City last week but were required to sign legal undertakings not to talk about what they heard."

Though a full track listing has yet to be released the names of a few potential tunes have been circulating including, "When the Deal Goes Down," "Spirit on the Water," "Thunder on the Mountain" and "Working man's Blues."

Modern Times will be Dylan's 44th record.
