Beyonc» searching for an all-girl band

Published: 2006-06-12
Beyonc» Knowles is heading out on tour behind her upcoming release B'Day and she wants you to come with herůthat is if you can play in her band.

Knowles is looking for some female musicians to play in her backup band. The women must be over the age of 18 and according to Yahoo! they "do not have to read music, but should be able to play by ear." To prove that they can play, the site also states that the women "are required to play "Work it Out" as performed on the Beyonc»: Live at Wembley DVD and perform a one-minute solo."

But if you can't already play the song then you may be out of luck as auditions around America begin today June 12th. Initial auditions will be in front of Beyonc»'s creative team but the finalists will appear for the lady herself in New York sometime at the end of this week. The band should be set to hit the road on June 20th.

Beyonc»'s second solo album B'Day is set to come out September 5th, which is of course her 25th birthday.

Hey Beyonce! Keep up the good work. My favorite song is "Daddy." I'm walking down the isle with my daddy on that one. Where's Angie? That's my high school class mate. G-town, Texas. This Kim Angie!
