Canadian indie rockers Wolf Parade are heading out on the road.

Supporting their 2005 debut LP Apologies to the Queen Mary the band will tour to promote the album across the continent.

The band came together when Spencer Krug called on his friends Dan Boeckner and Arlen Thompson when he was offered a spot opening for the Arcade Fire. Keyboardist Hadji Bakara and guitarist/ percussionist Dante DeCaro joined later.

The band is heading out on the road for the dog days of summer with fellow indie rockers Frog Eyes until they reach the Austin City Limits Festival at the end of their trek in September.

Here are their Canadian stops:

August 4, Ottawa, Ontario - Barrymore's Music Hall
August 5, Toronto, Ontario - Phoenix
August 20, Vancouver, British Columbia - Commodore Ballroom
September 3, Montreal, Quebec - Osheaga Festival
