Published: 2006-06-07
Toronto-based pop rockers The Golden Dogs are set to let you see their eyes.

The band came together in 2001 and released their first full length CD Everything in 3 Parts independently in 2003. It was released again through major label True North/Universal in 2004.

Now the band's follow up Big Eye Little Eye is set to hit record stores and fine digital music outlets on August 15th. The release will include 10 new tunes and a cover of the Wings' "Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five."

If you want to get a listen to some of the bands new tracks you can head over to their official Myspace where new tunes are ready to be listened to through their on site player which as of right now includes "1985" and "RUNOUTTALUCK."

Here are the other tunes you'll find on the disc:

"Holy Grail Intro/Dynamo"
"Never Meant Any Harm"
"Construction Worker"
"Saints At The Gates"
"Painting Ape/Which Way"
"Life On The Line/Holy Grail Reprise"
"Force Of Nature"

Or if you can't wait until then you can catch the band live in concert this summer. After a successful stint at SXSW the band is kicking off their summer tour with a visit to SXSW's Canadian cousin NXNE in Toronto:

June 10, Toronto, ON - Horseshoe Tavern
June 16, Ottawa, ON - Mavericks
June 28, Montreal, QC - Main Hall
July 13, Kingston, ON - Elixir
