John Reuben Spreads the Reubonic Plague on TV

The rapper has worked across the board in the music industry since he began his hip hop career in 2000. His most recent record The Boy vs. The Cynic was released in 2005 on Gotee Records.

Entitled The Professional Rapper, and named after his 2003 album of the same name, the TV show is what Reuben calls an "Altered reality" show. The show that labels Reuben as "the hip hop Bob Dylan" was shot by a video crew hired to document his rise to fame last year.

Billed as an underdog, Reuben thinks that people will want to watch his show because people root for the underdog.

According to his Myspace page Reuben says, "The real reality is that this show has the potential to be turned into a tv/movie/something else÷ the possibilities are endless."
