Fefe Dobson Wants To Rock Your High School

Published: 2004-03-11
Scarborough native Fefe Dobson wants to bring back the days of rocking the local high school gym. But not with a tour of Canadian high schools. Fefe in conjunction with Reeses Pieces is holding a contest to see which high school will be the lucky winners of a private party with Fefe Dobson. Along with a free concert the lucky winning school will also get a bunch of instruments courtesy of Fefe's record label Universal Music Canada for its music program. Go to www.reesesrocks.ca to register for the contest.

Fans of the TV show "American Dreams" can catch Fefe portraying a young Tina Turner on the March 28 episode of the program.

The Canadian Association of Broadcasters recently awarded the Radio Music Awards where Fefe's "Take me Along" won her the award for best new solo artist on contemporary hit radio. Other Radio Award winners were Shania Twain, Lillix, Maverick, Three Days Grace, Shaye, Keshia Chante, and The Salads. The awards were present at a ceremony in conjunction with the Canadian Music Week festivities in Toronto.
